There were lots of ants in the room, though the lodge was still fairly comfortable. Larena's center is about a 15-minute walk away, with some restaurants and a supermarket there.

The hosts were friendly and easygoing, which made it a great place to stay while touring the island. They provide the basics, including WiFi, a heater, and air conditioning.

The woman running the guesthouse was so lovely, friendly, chatty, and helpful. She even shared some melon with me while we talked over coffee. My room was clean, the bed really comfortable, and there was air conditioning. The guesthouse is conveniently located not far from the port, and it's a really good option for staying on Siquijor.

Handy place to stay if you arrive in Larena at night, thanks to its location.

Their car was parked in the way, leaving almost no room to get through to our room. It was an absolute disaster trying to reach it.
