I booked a Junior Suite Room through Agoda after seeing recent Google review photos that made it look new and clean. On arrival, it seemed okay and spacious, but it felt old and didn’t smell clean. The couch seemed and smelled unclean too, so I wiped it with wet wipes. The pillowcases smelled used and felt like they hadn’t been changed. I didn’t try the blanket because it felt itchy. The window AC was noisy and took a while to cool the whole room, and the TV was useless. The bathroom seemed okay at first: the flush worked, and the shower heater worked for a few minutes before turning cold again. The sink was clogged and took minutes to drain, though I didn’t get a photo or video of it. I was disappointed there wasn’t a decent cabinet or clothes rack in such a big room. There were literally two orange hangers on the curtain rod. The main door creaked badly, and opening it easily meant pulling upward on its weight while holding the handle. There’s a decent dining area on the 2nd floor, but breakfast is only served from 7AM - 9AM. The location is nice, but I regretted staying here for three nights.

The room was cramped, and the bathroom smelled really bad. Room service and maintenance also seemed poor, with thin walls. I stayed here with a friend while she was on vacation in Albay for the Magayon Fest, and it was a very unpleasant experience. Staff were annoyingly noisy outside our room, talking and laughing nonstop for hours. We woke up at 3 AM to hear them, and we couldn’t sleep properly. No photos, it wasn’t worth taking any ☺️

There’s a guard on duty at midnight, and overall the service was great. The rooms are clean and nice, with no hidden cameras or bed bugs. The AC gets cold, but not uncomfortably so. It isn’t remote controlled, though, so you have to get up to turn it off. Legazpi’s general area is prone to intermittent blackouts. The room had complimentary towels, free soap, body soap, a toothbrush, and a roll of tissue. The TV in my room didn’t work. They may also have overlooked the agreement for the complimentary breakfast I paid for, so double check with the front desk or ask your travel agency to help.

It’s a quiet place and easy to reach by transportation anytime. The hot shower, toilet set, TV, complimentary items, and mineral water all met my husband’s standards. There’s WiFi, but I didn’t use it because I had data and got a strong signal even inside the room. It’s not bad for the price, and we don’t mind that there isn’t much parking since we didn’t have a car. The downside is the distance to the new airport, Bicol International Airport. A one-way trip for the two of us cost 400 pesos. Good luck with your trip, hope this helps. I’ll add more pictures later.
