It feels more like a break from city life than a place for complete silence. During busy weeks the resort gets lively, so bring earphones or earplugs if you want to block out the sound. I enjoyed the energy myself. Our group had a clean, good-quality room, and the price felt like perfect value. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they sometimes ask to take photos for their Facebook page. The pool looks small online, but in person it’s decently sized and could fit almost everyone staying there.

The pool looked nice, but it was extremely cold, as usual in the Philippines, so I couldn’t use it. The rooms were very basic, though clean. There were no towels, and the shower had no hot water. That’s about what you’d expect from this type of hotel.
