The Pelicans Castaway

We went over Chinese New Year and were looking for somewhere private for the family. This place is newly set up and in a great location, especially if you want some quiet. They have rooms for families as well as couples. There’s a shared area with a kitchen, dining space, TV, and an air-conditioned bathroom, so you have somewhere else to hang out besides your room. There aren’t many staff, but they were accommodating and available when we needed something. Food needs to be ordered in, usually ahead of time for delivery. The staff suggested places for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, since there aren’t many restaurants nearby. In the morning, a woman sells bibingka and other dried goods on the beach, and we thought they were all pretty good. The beach itself was nice too. Nearby, you can take a mini boat or island tour with fish feeding, snorkeling, and island hopping. It costs 350 per person for two hours. One thing to keep in mind is booking. The staff said direct bookings are easier than using third-party apps like agoda, because the apps may add bookings later and cause double bookings. Luckily, that didn’t happen to us.

The property was really nice, clean, and comfortable. The staff were respectful too. Everything was great.
