Mountain Rock Resort

We came for a wedding held indoors. The event space is very large, and the resort is outside town. There are two pools: a very big one with slides and a bungalow, plus another in a small park for younger guests, also with slides. Near the parking lot there’s a cage with two large pythons.

This resort wasn't good for me. I wanted to come in, get a room, and use the swimming pool, but the gate guard wouldn’t let me in. Maybe they think foreign guests don’t have money. One star.

The rooms and venue have seen better days, and the security guard was such a jerk. If you’re only here for the pool, though, it’s alright.

The place was beautiful, and the staff were courteous too. But our room’s CR had lots of old stains, which made it look dirty, and there was a really bad smell.
