Loboc River Resort

The restaurant could be quicker: at lunch and dinner, it took a very long time to take and serve orders, and sometimes the dishes got mixed up. We also had breakfast included in our room booking, but drinks weren’t, so we had to pay for tea or coffee. We still had an excellent stay. Our premium room was very spacious, with access to a second pool reserved for premium guests and a large bathtub facing the river. There were curtains, and the houses are designed to give you privacy. We booked massages and a kayak for the two of us, and the staff were super nice and attentive. The surroundings were quiet and practical for getting around, with water lily ponds and a small park. By car, Tarsier sanctuary was 25 min away, Chocolate Hills 40 min, and the rice terrace close to the highest falls 2h. Staff helped book us a guide for that, at 40% less than the prices we found online. We highly recommend the hotel for couples, families with kids, or groups of friends. The hotel gave us a warm impression of Boholanos’ hospitality. Front desk, restaurant staff, drivers, and cleaners were all pleasant and professional, and treated us very well. The restaurant had a range of dishes and a lovely breakfast set. It’s a lovely resort for discovering Bohol, especially if you want to be near historic Loboc, the Tarsier Conservation Centre, and Chocolate Hills. We highly recommend it. Daghang Salamat po!

Margie, Merve, and their colleagues at reception were always welcoming and helpful, and Joseph was an amazing guide who really knew his stuff. The rest of the staff were great too. The location is ideal and there’s a wide range of activities. One of the best places I’ve stayed in the Philippines. If you’re looking for somewhere on the Loboc River, I’d absolutely recommend this resort.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and breakfast was a feast with lots of options. Dinner had plenty to choose from and tasted good, and I really liked the homemade iced tea. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. They also run a daily tour around the hotel where you can see monkeys and other animals. We’d recommend staying here and will come back if we return to the Philippines.
