It's a comfortable place with nice greenery, good for a family gathering or a group of friends. I also liked having a change from the usual crowded, overpriced Panglao resorts. There's no beach of its own, but Napo Beach is only a few meters away. The rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are huge too, maybe at the expense of bedroom space. The medicine cabinets over the sinks are ridiculously big and make the small sinks awkward. When brushing your teeth or washing your face, you can only get half your face over the sink. Nearby is Inang-angan Stairway, a beautiful historic structure with 212 coral stone steps, declared a National Cultural Treasure in 2010. It's good to see the area’s development respecting the community's heritage.

I rarely write reviews, but I really wanted to thank the staff. They were some of the kindest people I've met. I brought them a bag of fish, and they fried it all for free. They also went out of their way to sort out problems with our ferry tickets.

The garden and pool are lovely, and the staff were lovely too. The rooms are clean and comfortable. As someone from Europe, I'd only suggest warmer or bigger bedsheets. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely stay here.

We really liked the peaceful location, the spotless place, and the amazing staff. The food was fresh and good, apart from the calamari, which was frozen and chewy, so I wouldn't bother trying it. The mattress foam in our standard room was much too soft for me, maybe fine for lighter Filipinos, but not for Westerners, especially anyone with a sensitive back. The other issue was the paper-thin wall between the rooms. We could hear absolutely everything from next door, and could have carried on a conversation with them. I'm not exaggerating. It's a shame, since the place itself is really nice, but those two problems mean we wouldn't return.
