The Saint Joseph Residential Suites

There’s plenty of room to relax, and the rooftop view is great. I’ve stayed in units on both the 3rd and 2nd floors. Each had a handy kitchenette with cups, plates, silverware, a microwave, and filtered water, which worked well for food deliveries. Both bedrooms had comfortable beds and air conditioning.

The staff were polite and helpful, and I’d stay here again. The apartment had a dormitory, living room, kitchen, and bathroom for a decent price, and it was fairly quiet for downtown and quite clean. There were small ants by the kitchen sink. The bathroom lacked its towel drying bar, so drying wet towels was awkward, and the door wouldn’t shut properly, letting smells drift into the living room. The air conditioning was quiet and worked well. There was cold and warm drinking water at a dispenser. The microwave didn’t work, though we only needed it once, and the can opener was broken too.

The rooms were clean and well furnished, and Christian was very nice and helpful. It’s a decent place for an overnight stay. The split air conditioner could be stronger in the bedroom, and there was no TV there. The living room TV had a poor cable signal, with no air conditioning in that room either. Wi-Fi was weak. Dogs and roosters nearby made noise in the morning, and parking outside could be hard to find if you arrive by car.

The caretaker was very welcoming, though this place has a caretaker rather than a receptionist or front desk. I expected a hotel room, so getting a clean, quiet two room apartment with a kitchenette was a pleasant surprise. Restaurants, fast food, and 7/11 are nearby, as you’d expect in an urban area.
