The staff and service were nice and accommodating. We stopped at Urbantel to rest while traveling from Bicol to Manila, and for the price it was pretty solid. The water heater worked well. The air conditioning was fine, if a little old.

The front desk staff were absolutely horrible, rude and disrespectful to foreigners, and the customer service was poor. This place is trash. Don’t stay here!

It’s a fairly standard hotel, somewhere between average and good. The rooms are spacious, and the toilet has a balcony. The price seems worthwhile, and it’s in the city center near the Quezon Provincial Capitol. I’d recommend it for a short stay up to a week, whether you’re on your own, with a partner, or with family. I do hope the water heater gets warmer.

The hotel itself is quiet, and the rooms are clean and a decent size. It’s budget friendly, with polite staff, hot water, and air conditioning that works very well. The location is congested and traffic is heavy, unfortunately.

We had to drive through the crazy market to get in and out, but it added some seasoning to our Philippines trip. I’d definitely stay here again. The place was clean and smelled wonderful, and the beds were large, king sized I think. Hot food is available to buy downstairs. The staff were nice, walked us inside with umbrellas in the rain, and fixed problems right away, including a TV issue with our four little ones. This place was a pleasant surprise, a real diamond in the rough.
