The checkout took around 30 minutes, and the front desk staff seemed to need help processing the transaction. More training and confidence with checkout would bring that part up to the standard of the check-in, which was smooth, efficient, and welcoming. I forgot the name of the staff member who checked us in, but it starts with M. 😅 Big thanks to you. As a Diamond member, I appreciated the complimentary room upgrade. The service was warm and attentive throughout, especially from the staff in Exctve Lounge. I love those dried mangoes. 🤗 It was a very pleasant stay, and with a quicker checkout it would be great from start to finish.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the service was excellent. The amenities were okay, and it was a lovely stay overall. The cleanliness, especially around the food, needs a lot of improvement. My room's drinking glass had lip and finger marks all over it. At the Olive breakfast buffet, the first plate I picked up had dried rice stuck to it, the next had ketchup or something red across the middle, and the third also had rice stuck on it. It seemed the whole stack had been missed during washing. When I finally sat down to eat, my napkin had crusty stains and more food on it. The staff were the best part of the trip and some of the best people I've met, but the food cleanliness really needs work.

The concierge were very welcoming, but this stay fell well below what I expect from the Hilton brand. The restaurants were a disaster. In the Chinese restaurant, the room was so cold that the food arrived cold too. The duck was supposed to come before the main course, but everything arrived at once. In the lounge, they took away the canape plate before the food could get to your mouth. At Olive, the Pork Sinigang was listed as a single portion, but they wouldn't serve it to me because they said it was for sharing. I ordered a glass of wine that wasn't available, nobody offered an alternative, and the staff didn't know it was unavailable. They couldn't remember the specials and took 10 minutes to find out what was on a pizza. I wondered if they'd mess up a burger too. They did: it was cold again, raw and mushy in the middle. At least that helped with the diet. They even got the bill wrong. I paid in full when I arrived in the morning, then they told me at checkout there was a mistake and asked for more money. It was a small amount, but after that awful experience, what a joke. In response to the owner, the food was still poor the next day, and the wine still hadn't been restocked. As I said, good for the diet, at least. It's not that difficult.

We felt like stars from the moment we arrived. The staff greeted us warmly, helped with our bags, and guided us through security, which made us feel safe. The hotel itself is gorgeous, with an elegant lobby, chandeliers, and escalators and elevators. There’s a cafe downstairs for coffee, tea, and pastries, plus a duty-free shop selling things like handbags, snacks, cigarettes, and liquor. Upstairs are guest services, two restaurants, and a stunning Treat Bar lounge with an outdoor area that leads to the pool. Our room was spotless and spacious, with a fridge stocked with drinks and Snickers. They’d also provided robes, slippers, bottled water, tea and coffee, a Philips kettle, an iron, and a hair dryer. We loved the food and drinks, and even my husband enjoyed every meal. The chef came out to ask how we were finding the food and hotel, and was so kind. The cocktails at Treat Bar were expertly made. The pool is beautiful, and the poolside Halo Halo was delicious. They also have sip and paint, zumba, a spa, a gym, and a whole casino. We’ll stay here again if we’re back in Angeles City. Such lovely attention to detail.
