The blankets had visible blood stains, which felt completely unhygienic. I was also frustrated by how the staff handled our request to review CCTV footage for an important matter. Even with a police request, they weren't helpful; they said approval was needed, and it left me unsure whether they could provide the footage at all. The hotel's security coverage also didn't seem reliable, which raised concerns about guest safety and how incidents are handled. I left very disappointed and wouldn't recommend Astrotel Guadalupe or book there again.

The room felt cramped, the toilet wouldn't flush, and there was no hot water in the shower. We booked the VIP room expecting it to look like the pictures, but it didn't. At the lobby, the staff weren't very welcoming. No smiles or greetings, just what felt like judging looks.

There wasn't even a Wi-Fi signal, so I had to use my mobile data. The remote the staff gave me didn't work with the TV in my VIP room, and I had to ask them for it in the first place. There were no chairs either. I checked in 10 hours after my booking, so this was still a letdown. The room didn't feel VIP at all; I felt like I'd paid too much for a cheap motel.

They charge a joiner's fee just for a visit, and I wasn't given an official receipt after paying. I also heard staff murmuring once I turned away.

The king-size bed and affordable price were nice, and the staff were pleasant. They did a good job with fire safety too. There are a few small issues, but they were fine with me.
