LPL Suites Greenbelt Makati

The location is good and easy to get around from, though the building is a bit old and could use improvement. My main issue was one of the guards, who was disrespectful and had a bad attitude. I hope management retrains the guards in customer service.

You get a kettle and refrigerator in the room, and I slept well. Staff were very good, but the furniture is quite old, some rooms have a bad view, and only a few look out onto the street. Legazpi Street is a great location, directly opposite Greenbelt 5, with lots of food options and malls nearby. Makati is popular and clean, though more expensive than other parts of Manila. The hotel feels relatively expensive for what you get.

There’s no parking at the hotel, so you’ll need to leave your vehicle at Greembelt 1 or 5. There’s no bell service or concierge. The room we got looked like an old office or condo unit. The location is great, but don’t expect high-standard hotel service or amenities. They should update the room design, retile the kitchen and bathroom, and get rid of the old furniture. Don’t be surprised if you see pests. The building is old, so what else would you expect?

I was disappointed when I arrived to find I’d been given a small standard room even though I booked a suite. There wasn’t another room available, so we ended up booking a suite at The Charter house instead. The last time we stayed at LPL/RedDoorz, we had a nice room with a view and were happy with it, which made this stay more disappointing.
