There’s always a lot going on here, and the hostel runs activities every day, which makes it easy to meet people and have fun. Locals and travelers hang out all over the place. The terrace bar is lovely, and there’s a nice coffee shop downstairs if you want to chat or just relax. I love the vibe. The food is okay, but I’d skip the desserts. Seriously MM, you should stop making them :D. Keep in mind that this hostel is right in the middle of the party district. It’s a very touristy spot and a great fit for backpackers and travelers who want to connect with people. There are loads of bars, clubs, and places to eat within walking distance, so you can drink as much as you like and walk back when you’re ready.

We had such a fun time at mad monkey here in Manila! Christopher was especially great company for our night here. It’s the best place to hang out in makati, and we’d recommend it to everyone. We love this place, it’s a great party spot!

I only stayed one night in Manila, but had the best time here. The dorms were clean, modern, and nice, and the hostel is in a nice part of Makati. The staff were amazing, and the walking tour, karaoke, and comedy night were all so much fun.

The 24-hour bar downstairs keeps the place lively with drinks and laughter late into the night. I expected that and didn’t mind, but it’s probably not for anyone who needs quiet to sleep. The location’s handy, with bars and food nearby and the airport about 10-15 minutes away. There’s a 24-hour front desk, and the AC gets nice and cold. Water was out for maybe 1-2 hours during my stay, and the AC unit made a clicking sound every ten seconds.
