Zula Hostel

A quiet, homey atmosphere. Nice for a peaceful overnight stay.

Century city was just a five-minute walk from the property, where I had my covid test. I booked for the night before my flight, and the room was just the right size for that stay. The little table and chair were handy for all my zoom calls. Everyone, from the security guards and receptionists to the restaurant's chef, was so hospitable and helpful. I loved the food, with huge servings at low prices. It was a great, affordable place, even for just one night. Thanks so much for hosting me.

The lower bunk was almost on the floor, so if you have back problems, I'd suggest asking for an upper bunk. WiFi comes with a password voucher at check-in, and each voucher works for one device, though you can ask for another. They bring free breakfast, bread, a fruit, and tetra pack juice, to the room at 6am. I liked the stable Internet, good cafe coffee, hassle-free check-in, and especially the friendly staff. The smart light switch was pretty cool too. The hostel had only opened a few months earlier, and I stayed once. I was comfortable there, and really appreciated how warm the personnel were.

We walked to nearby places including the Catholic Church, Century City Mall, and Ayala Mall. The whole staff were wonderful, from the front desk and hospitality team to the dining staff. They gave us an excellent room upgrade at no charge, and we got to know nearly everyone during our eight days there. They also spent a lot of time and care dealing with the neighboring barking dogs. Mel, Manager, and Iralia at the front desk suggested where to book our next hotel stay in Nasugbu Batangas. They referred us to Mr. Jeff Launddy for laundry, and we were happy with the clean, nicely folded clothes and delivery. We'll never forget the mystic and beauty of ABRAHAM MANILA HOSTEL.
