Mikki's Tourist Inn

We got a full refund and left to find somewhere else after being there for less than 30 minutes. At first, they asked us to pay P300 for having "used" the linens, but we refused because nobody had told us about this policy. We'd booked a four-person room for P1,700 on June 16, 2019, arriving at 4pm. It had air conditioning, a shower, WiFi, a TV, and two queen-size beds, but no breakfast, pool, or toiletries. The female staff member with a mole on her face said toiletries were only provided by "expensive" hotels. They gave us two towels and agreed to add another when we asked. We were told checkout was at 10am, and after the female staff member confirmed that was management's rule, our request to leave at noon was refused. She told us to find another place, so we started packing. We were shocked by the early checkout time, which we'd never encountered before, and weren't told about it when booking. The male staff member couldn't be found when we tried to ask him about the policy. Poor service: the male staff member had no T-shirt on, they weren't courteous, didn't go the extra mile, and didn't know how to manage a conflict. The accommodation was substandard. Other hotels nearby offer better value, including Golden Sunset resort, Terrasse Beach Resort, and D & A Seaside Cottages. Highly NOT recommended.
