Andy Hotel

The hotel is cheap, but that doesn’t make up for dirty sheets, poor sanitation, and basic items costing extra. The TV was basically decoration, with only local channels and no Netflix. The kettle, cutlery, and even basic amenities were charged separately. When we checked in, the bedsheets felt like they hadn’t been changed from the previous guest. They were stained and dirty. Cockroaches were everywhere, which was uncomfortable and felt dangerous. Housekeeping and sanitation clearly need serious attention. We left full of regrets. I absolutely don’t recommend this hotel.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, but the internet was terrible, even with our mobile data. It was a dead spot. I spotted baby roaches as soon as we got settled in. The bed was the worst part. My kids couldn’t sleep because of the itching, and I noticed rashes on my hands and arms after we checked out. I saw more once we got back to Manila. It was only an overnight stay, but I’ll never recommend this place to friends or family.

The reception desk and bellboy were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The hotel was good to check into for the price, though it’s not like a 5 star hotel. Some of the food is pricey and there aren’t many options, but walk about 5 mins outside and you’ll find food stalls, carenderia, fast food, and SM J Mall.

The rooms are decent for the price, and the staff are pleasant and friendly. It’s in a great spot, within walking distance of various shops and J Mall. I did see little roaches in the bathroom, but at this low price, I guess you can’t expect much.
