Casa Blanca Apartment

The managers were extremely friendly and helpful, and the service was excellent, 10+. The building is kept clean, though it could use modernizing and is showing its age. The apartments are in a convenient old area, opposite Robinsons Mall and near plenty of places to eat. For its age, the building is in fair shape, and the price is competitive with other places.

It may look nice on the website, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here. There are cockroaches and mosquitoes, the facilities are rusty, and the faucet leaks. The electric stove’s plug socket has a burn mark, and cigarette smell is everywhere. The one upside is that it’s right across from Robinsons.

It’s cheap, sure, but the hygiene was nasty. Mosquitoes and cockroaches were all over the hallways, in our room, and even around our bed, which felt risky in the Philippines. The bedding didn’t seem clean either, and there was unfinished soda and a cockroach in the fridge. We left the next day instead of using the rest of our booking.

The room was spacious, with a kitchen and sofa, and I really liked it. It’s about a 10-minute walk from st. Lukes medical center. I stayed three good days, the front desk was very friendly, and the staff were accommodating. It’s budget-friendly, and I’d probably recommend it to everyone.
