Hotel Soriente

The hot and cold shower was fine, and the hotel is very near St. Lukes. Still, I prefer Paragon Tower, Mannra Hotel and St. Anthony Suites, which are much nearer and better value for money. I was disappointed that there was no WiFi in the room, even though the amenities suggested there would be. You can get WiFi in the lobby, but the connection is very slow. The hotel feels very old and creepy, the curtains are dirty, the TV monitor is broken, and it wasn't very clean.

Soriente Hotel is convenient, but my stay was unpleasant and I won't come back because of the poor customer service. The front desk staff were unfriendly and didn't seem to know the business rules and regulations. They lacked customer service skills. The shower was filthy and didn't work properly, the bathroom was dirty, and there was no extra toilet paper. They charged the full amount upfront, something none of the other hotels I've stayed at had done, and I had no choice. I was also charged 25 pesos for an extra towel, but staff never told me there was a charge. Customers should be given the choice to take it or leave it. I hope your experience there is better than mine.

St. Luke's Extension is only a 5 to 10 minutes walk away for a medical exam, and there are plenty of restaurants and Robinsons mall nearby. Tricycles and jeepneys are easy to find. Our overnight stay was pleasant, and I'd recommend it to anyone on a tight budget. The Hotel Soriente staff, including Ms. Rain, were very helpful and accommodating. The room and bathroom were clean, the aircon was cold, and they provided clean towels, soap, and bathroom tissues. The TV had local channels. Thank you, and God bless you all!

I stayed here for 8 days and nights in July 2019 while my fiancée was getting her medical exams at SLEC and attending the accompanying interview at the US embassy. It was reassuring to have my room just a stone's throw away. I often saw people spending hours around St Luke's or in the nearby cafes. The price is very fair for what you get, and I urge others in the same situation to stay here. The room is very, very big, and the staff are prompt and friendly. The Condura aircon units are top of the line and can make the room feel like a freezer if you want. WiFi was strong and never dropped out. The lighting is the one complaint. The rooms aren't well lit, so I had to sit at the desk by the mirror to do any work that involved reading. There's no electric kettle in the room either, so for hot water when working late, you have to call downstairs. They don't charge for it or expect a tip, and I made lots of calls. Highly recommended.
