We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights after booking through Agoda. We chose the cheapest room, with 2 single beds, and paid a little over ₱3,000, which felt reasonable. The inn feels safe, with a 24/7 security guard, good lighting, CCTV outside and along the corridors, visible fire extinguishers, and working fire detectors. There’s no convenience store close by, but a 1-2 minute walk along F. Jhocson Street gets you to food stalls for tapsilog, coffee, and different turo-turo options. The inn’s café is open from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM. We had no major cleanliness problems, though the floors need better dusting. You can ask the front desk for room cleaning. The place looks a bit dated, and the towels aren’t hotel quality, but they’re acceptable. The sheets had no visible stains, though the material is quite thin.

We stay here when we’re in University belt. It’s in a very convenient spot, the rooms are clean, and the service is fair for the price. Try their cafe.

The place is clean and feels safe, and the staff are helpful with nice service. I stay every year at gobernor forbes inn. Please put a rack in the shower room for toiletries. Thank you, and God bless.

It’s disturbingly noisy from the vehicles outside, so it’s not a quiet place to stay. The staff weren’t friendly or accommodating, and they seemed to expect tips for service they didn’t deserve. They didn’t return our change, the aircon wasn’t cold, and there are no elevators. We booked a certain room number and asked to move to that room, but they gave us the one they preferred instead, so what’s the point of booking? They advertised free breakfast but didn’t cook during breakfast hours, so you have to buy your own food early in the morning. If you want a quiet stay, staff to follow the booked room, an elevator, or good service, look for another hotel.
