Sulit Dormitel Santa Mesa Manila

The room was nice, and the bed was so comfortable I fell asleep as soon as I lay down. The Wi-Fi was only average and could use an upgrade, since I needed a good connection to study for an exam. Even so, I’d recommend the place. It’s right behind SM, which is handy. 8/10, and I’d book again sometime.

The rooms were clean and stayed quiet even with a construction yard next door. Staff were nice, and you could get everything from little snacks to coffee right there. 🙂

There’s no elevator, so getting to our fifth-floor room was a rough walk every time. The room was super cheap, though, so I didn’t mind too much. Staff were friendly, and the location was nice, about a four-minute walk from the LRT 2 line. The AC worked well but was really loud. It sounded like white noise to me, so it didn’t bother me. The water heater was good, and soap and shampoo were free. Cheap food stalls are right outside, and the mall is very close. From the airport, you can take a Jeepney across the runway, to the right of the McDonald’s at one of the U-turns toward Baclaran, then walk to the LRT and come here. It costs around 50 pesos per person, much less than a 400 peso Grab.

The place worked for my two-night stay, and getting around was easy since SM Sta. Mesa and V Mapa LRT Station are only steps away. My room had dim lighting and could use a refresh. There’s no elevator, so an upper-floor room means stairs, and I had no hot water, just cold showers.
