To clarify, I wasn’t asking for a room without a reservation or insisting on a stay during peak season. I understand and respect the policies on exclusive bookings and not offering day use. My concern was how guests were handled and given information. We arrived, waited, and found no staff at reception to explain the process. As first-time visitors relying on public information, we hadn’t seen anything saying walk-ins were strongly discouraged or that nobody would be at the front desk. At the restaurant, the refusal could have been explained more courteously and with some empathy, especially after we said we had tried to coordinate. A brief explanation at the start would have prevented the confusion. I appreciate the work your team puts into maintaining the resort, and understand peak seasons can be demanding. I’m sharing this in good faith to point out where things could improve, not to blame anyone. This reflects our personal experience. I wish the team well this holiday season.

I’m grateful to God that I found and visited this place. Walking around helps me feel closer to the Creator, meditate, reflect and think about God’s wonderful creations. It’s relaxing and very Instagrammable, with an elegant atmosphere and affordable prices. A lovely place for deep conversations with friends, or for family birthdays and weddings. We’ve visited four times for relaxing, fun, fellowship, family and friends’ meetings, as well as weddings and birthdays. The rooms are elegant and clean, especially the bathrooms. The staff are kind and helpful, and there are spaces for functions, rooms and swimming pools. Highly recommended.

Fazenda de Faburada has stayed special to us. Just last week my son had a wonderful time in the infinity pool with his grandfather, and I always try to stop by, even briefly, to enjoy the scenery and pool. Two years ago we held our wedding reception and birthday gathering here. I still remember how carefully the staff looked after all our guests, always smiling. They also take extra care with children. The food was 11 out of 10. I hope to visit again soon when I’m out of office.

We traveled a long way to visit this resort. We’d checked its Facebook page beforehand and saw no notice that it was unavailable or fully booked. When we arrived, nobody was at reception even after we waited about 10 minutes. Hungry, we went to the restaurant. Just as we were about to order, they asked for our room number. I said we were walk-ins hoping to use the facilities for the day. They turned us away, saying we should have paid ₱250 before entering because they were fully booked. I said we were willing to pay, but there hadn’t been anyone at reception to help us earlier. The receptionist was also in the restaurant, yet we were told they were “too busy.” That could have been handled more politely and professionally. The whole experience left us feeling that the resort wasn’t very welcoming or interested in guests. A simple online announcement and better customer service would have made a big difference. The pools and grounds were clean and really Instagrammable, and the food was tasty and affordable. Our Bahay Kubo room (Gumamela) was so comfortable and thoughtfully designed, even though we booked a non-air-conditioned room. The staff were courteous and accommodating, with typical Filipino motherly vibes. My only concern was the weak Wi-Fi in our room. I’d rate the stay 5.
