For p800 a night, it's a bargain, and everything looked new. The water seemed clean and had good pressure, though the linens had a strange smell. Watch for mosquitoes at night and millepedes getting in under the door. I only stayed overnight, so I didn't get to check the nearby beach, which is just a stones throw away. The ramp from the highway is steep and tricky, and the access road was muddy and waterlogged.

The bed was good, and the evening was cool enough that I didn't need an air-conditioned room. For one night, it was a good deal. I stayed in a fan room, though, and you can hear the person in the next room snoring. They provided two towels and toilet paper.

The hostess was incredibly welcoming and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. The place was simple but very comfortable for the price. I had trouble finding it at first, though I should have called ahead, so that was my mistake. They helped us book canyoneering and tours at great prices. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back soon.

I really enjoyed staying here. The catch is that Airbnb makes it look like the place is near Giasano Grand Mall, when it’s actually halfway to Badian. That can be frustrating if you need to be in town. I was glad I had a rented motorcycle, since otherwise every meal and trip back to Moaboal would have meant a 250 peso tricycle ride each way. The owner’s misleading location listing could backfire.
