New Modern Summer House

The host is nice, and there are cute puppies around. The AC works great. There's drinking water inside and hot water in the shower, and you don't even have to pass through a reception. Would recommend.

This is a lovely little guesthouse. The room was a good size, with a desk, bed, and bathroom, and the bed was very comfortable. The Wi-Fi was good too. We did have some trouble with water and ants, but those issues were fixed right away. The lady was kind and friendly and happy to answer questions. It's a little out of the way, but after a 10-minute walk you're among music and busy restaurants.

The shower's hot water was much appreciated, and having free water, coffee, and tea available all day was a nice extra. New Modern was a great experience. The staff were so kind and helped us arrange all our activities, even sorting out our next destinations. It's just a 15-minute walk from the main street with all the bars and restaurants.

The staff were polite and helpful at all times, which is the only reason I'd give this place a second star. The room on the second floor had such low water pressure that showering was impossible, and there was no hot water heater. Internet was extremely poor, with a 5 Mbit/s connection shared among all the guests and hotel staff. The place isn't new or modern, and the location was bad for two reasons: too far from the waterfront, beach, and restaurants, yet too close to the noisy main street.
