Seabreeze Beach Lodge

The place is decent and clean, and the bathrooms were comfortable. It's not right on the beach, and some areas are still being built, but the helpers were nice. The price is lower than at other places, and they let you borrow kitchen things and cook. Not bad, though there's still a lot that could be improved.

The rooms and the facilities that are already open feel well thought out, and the owner and housekeeping were attentive and quick to respond. For what you pay, the place seems more than reasonably priced. Just expect to climb a lot of stairs, including between the kitchen and dining area and on the way to the beach. Much of the building is still under construction, with work going on around the property, so it wasn't the most pleasant experience and can look unsightly. It needs a little more time to be finished.

Mam Bheng and the other staff were accommodating and understanding, and we had a good stay. Our room and bathroom were clean. Each room has an outdoor dining table that seats six, but the tables aren't numbered, so some guests take more than one. I hope they mark them so everyone can use the table meant for their room. The lodge is on Calayo road, one road back from the beach. It's about a 1-2 minute walk to Calayo beach through an alley. They provide only one blanket and one towel per bed, even when it's meant for two people. There's also a 1k security deposit, returned at checkout. A good choice for family or group outings at Calayo Beach.

There's no first floor, so you'll need to take the stairs to rooms on the second, third, and fourth floors. The kitchenette costs 600 pesos to use. Be careful to lock your door when you leave and keep valuables with you. I saw a guy hanging around when no one was watching the rooms, and he even tried to open the door.
