I left and found another hotel seven minutes away. I’m there now writing this review. I’d arrived without a reservation, and that turned out to be a good thing. The younger woman at reception quoted 2,000 pesos a night for a walk-in. I mentioned Agoda had shown 1,200 that morning, and she told me to book through Agoda. Then an older woman who seemed to be a supervisor came over. She refused my offer of 1,200 pesos cash and also said to book online. Agoda then showed 993 pesos for a queen bed, with a refrigerator and TV in the listing. When I asked about those, I was told there were no refrigerators in any room and the TV connection wasn’t working. I asked to see the room before booking and was refused. They said I had to book first. I also asked if there was at least hot water and working air conditioning. Again, the answer was to book first. What are they hiding? STAY AWAY!

The building and lobby smelled old, and the place felt unsafe: no security guard or gate, a lot full of broken-down vehicles, and a building that looked like a haunted house. The room was disgusting, with roaches and bed bugs, broken tiles, rotten wood counters, a wobbly toilet, broken switches and sockets, a cigar smell in the bathroom, flickering lights, and peeling walls. There were five adults in our group, but we got only two towels and no toiletries, even though the Agoda listing included them. Staff thought we’d checked out and entered our room without even knocking. Nobody apologized. This place should be shut down. The affordable rate isn’t worth a stay like this. Do not book.

The photos are old and misleading, and the non-refundable “affordable rates” aren’t worth the risk. I booked through Agoda before reading the reviews and lost my payment, which I’m treating as a lesson. The other negative reviews are true. This hotel is horrible and feels like a trap. Don’t make the same mistake or fall for the inaccurate pictures.

The outside and entry area were dirty, and the place smelled bad. The online photos look at least 20 years old. It seemed like a nasty location, possibly the kind of place rented by the hour. We’d booked and paid for a room weeks before arriving, but a very rude agent told us there were no rooms and that she couldn’t access the reservation system. The worst part was that she acted as though it were our fault. Worst hotel ever. Do not stay here.

We paid a lot for three nights and four days, but it wasn’t worth any of it. The room and bathroom were really dirty and didn’t seem properly sanitized, like they only changed the sheets after the previous guests left. The pictures on Agoda and Google were both wrong, a real expectation versus reality situation. There were four of us, but they gave us just two towels and three pillows, saying that was the standard distribution for the room we booked. It was a family room with a queen bed and one bunk bed. We let that go, but they also didn’t provide the water listed among the amenities. The staff were rude and unaccommodating, and the owner was rude when we contacted them. We were very disappointed and can’t recommend this experience.
