Treasure Island Resort

The people were friendly, but I don’t think our two nights were worth 3,100 pesos per night. We had no coffee maker or microwave, and had to buy water after getting just two very small free bottles on the first day. Breakfast wasn’t included, and we had to purchase water with it. Room service never came by. You can go downstairs to order meals, but there’s no phone in the room to call down. The bathroom felt built for people three feet tall. The toilet sits only 12 inches from the floor, and the shower has less room than a phone booth. I could barely squeeze in. If you have a disability, forget it.

I’ve only eaten here twice, once for dinner and once for breakfast, and both meals were excellent. The service staff were really friendly and attentive. If you’re near Baloy Beach, I recommend eating here.

A great beachfront resort with a fun, friendly feel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the pool and bar area are perfect for relaxing. The staff are always welcoming. One of the best places in Subic to chill.

I loved the food at Treasure Island in Barrio Beretto. It was magnificent, Michelin-star quality without a doubt. The bands I’ve heard here a few times on Saturday afternoons and evenings were record-level good. I’m guessing they’re brought in from Manila. Come in the afternoon if you want a table, since the resort fills up for the entertainment. The rooms are amazing, with great beds, big-screen TVs and Wi-Fi. There’s a beautiful pool just steps from the room, with classy restaurant tables at poolside. Golden sand beach, the kind you see on postcards, is only about five steps from the pool. At night, the pool area lights up with an opulent display that makes it feel like paradise. A big thank-you to Mark, my concierge host nicknamed “handyman,” for making sure our stay was the best it could be.
