Anbon Hotel

Everything is within walking distance, and the employees were accommodating, helpful, and friendly. Breakfast is included, as is room service, though I didn’t try the breakfast. The tacos were very good. The bathroom was large and nice, with two soft, large towels and toiletries. I booked one night without a reservation. The hotel is across the street from the beach, but it was loud from music and motorcycles all day and night, both in front and behind the unit. In the morning, the blaring music was annoying. The basic room had a queen bed, a huge wardrobe, a very small flat screen, a table, and stools. The air conditioner was old, missing its cover, made a clicking noise, and didn’t cool the room, so I rented an electric fan for 100php. I wouldn’t stay again, but I’d recommend it to someone on a budget looking for nightlife and the beach.

This is a basic but affordable hotel. The staff seemed honest, and I felt secure there. I met a couple of Americans and other foreigners who stayed weekly or monthly. The beach is across the street, and stores are within walking distance. I stayed in a newly renovated room. The picture I’ll post shows the new front desk and snack area.

I like this simple hotel because the shower has both hot and cold water. The air conditioning gets so cool that it’s easy to fall asleep.

A basic, inexpensive hotel with good value, though the rooms are very simple. Short-term rentals are available.
