For PHP 9,700, my first stay at YBC Grand Hotel was very disappointing. I booked three days and two nights, but the service, housekeeping, and maintenance didn't feel acceptable for the price. I hope this reaches top management or the owner, because housekeeping standards, maintenance procedures, and overall service need urgent improvement. The washroom smelled bad throughout our stay. I had to adjust things myself and use my own perfume to cover the odor, which shouldn't be a guest's responsibility. When I asked in the morning for help changing the electric heater, action came very late. On the second day, I requested bathroom tissue and again the response was extremely delayed. It seemed only the reception staff were working, with housekeeping unavailable or poorly managed. The room wasn't properly cleaned. The electric water heater had wastewater inside, so we didn't use it. They said it would be changed, but they only cleaned it instead, which showed poor maintenance and a lack of proper inspection.

Breakfast was poor, and the flimsy disposable plastic spoons and forks broke with only slight pressure. The service was poor too, with no attendants readily available when we had concerns, and it didn't feel like value for money. I hope management takes this seriously and improves cleanliness, maintenance, and service for future guests. The room smelled unpleasant and wasn't as clean as expected. There was a persistent bad odor in the bathroom that made the stay uncomfortable. The electric kettle had old water and dark, chocolate-like residue, as if it hadn't been properly cleaned or replaced for a long time. There was also too little tissue.

Couldn't sleep well. They were still playing pickleball at 11pm and didn't seem to care about the hotel guests. They need proper rules for the convenience of people staying there.

There are no windows in the room, which might matter to some people, but it was spacious and had what we needed for a short stay. The room was decent, and free breakfast was a nice extra. The hotel is right on the highway, with a supermarket on the first floor, which was very convenient.

YBC Grand Hotel is very affordable, and the rooms were well cleaned. The staff were friendly, and the location was easy to access. There's a casino and supermarket in the building too. A comfortable stay for a very low price, especially if you're watching your budget.
