In the first room, the shower, sink, and toilet all leaked and flooded the bathroom, so we asked to switch rooms. The next room had a broken shower, no toilet seat, and a broken AC pipe that leaked. There were holes and stains in the sheets and towels, and spiders and ants all over the rooms. It looked like they'd only ever cleaned the bed sheets. The staff didn't even know we were coming, and when we checked out early, they didn't say anything to us.

DONT DO IT. I booked online with a non-refundable reservation, but the owner tried to make me pay again because of some problem they had with the booking. The walls are paper thin. My room faced the city's Main Street on one side and a big parking lot on the other. Loud buses went by all 32min, and at 5oclock the village turns into a madhouse for whale watching. I couldn't sleep without ear protection. I had to beg for towels and toilet paper. The sink water was brown, and nothing came from the showerhead. Go somewhere else.

If you want a cheap stay, this place might work, but I wouldn't pick it for hotel quality. It's just a few steps from the Whaleshark viewing spot, an ATM, and a convenience store, which is handy. Still, the poor service left me disappointed. We stayed for 3 days and never got the toiletries, even after asking. The TV only had 1 channel, the bed squeaked, the toilet wouldn't flush, and the room smelled unpleasant, maybe from the paint or from previous guests. At least the hot/cold shower worked and the AC was good. Have a good stay at Oslob! 😊

I was there in Aug 2023. I'd only give this place a 3-star rating because it's across the street from Whaleshark watching and the room cost $30 bucks. There was no warm water. Leave any food out and ants would get in under the door or through gaps around the air conditioning or toilet pipe. The television was a 19-inch monitor with a cable box attach, and it only showed the news on 1 channel. ONE CHANNEL!

We stopped here for breakfast before our Tour to Sumilon Island and got caught off guard when the staff pushed the menu right in front of us. We ordered Silog meals (Sinaing at itlog) and coffee for 175 each. They didn't have a Porkchop meal, but never told us. Instead, they just brought a different meal without asking. Who does that? Lol. The area was dusty, and they hadn't even cleaned it before asking us to go upstairs. We wanted to watch the sunrise here, but tree branches blocked the view. Such a shame, since it didn't meet what tourists might expect.
