Pedz Cing Mango Lodge

The staff are hospitable, and parking feels safe, so you can relax without worrying about your vehicle. It’s easy to find and right by the road. The rooms are fairly cheap, and there’s a pool for swimming and relaxing. A nice place to chill out.

The owners kindly let my friends and me check in late for a quick overnight stay. Our room was clean and spacious, and they even provided an extra mattress for those of us sleeping on the floor. The service was great. The Wi-Fi could be better. There were two networks, one named after the lodge (A) and another named after a person (B). We only got the password for (B), and it didn’t work when connecting to (A). The signal in our room was weak too. Though speedtest showed 200Mbps by the router, we got just 10-30Mbps in the room. I suggest using the same Wi-Fi name and password as (A), and moving the router closer to the inner room.

Judiel and Venus were the kindest, sweetest hosts we met in Oslob. They helped us plan the next day’s trips, and arranged breakfast the night before. The rooms are clean and just big enough. It’s a few kilometers from the whale shark watching area, but I’d recommend staying here if you want a quiet, relaxing place with friends after a day out.

The owners can help arrange trips to see the whale sharks and go canyoning if that’s what you’re after. We loved the beautiful pool, tasty breakfasts, and clean rooms at Pedz Cing Mango Lodge. It was our favorite place to stay in the Philippines, and if we could, we’d give it 10 out of 5 stars. Definitely stay here when you’re in Oslob.
