Four Queens Resort

The air conditioning was so powerful that the room was almost too cold, quite a contrast for a usually very warm city. We checked in very late, almost 9pm, and they took care of us right away. Breakfast was great too.

The room has a balcony, and the bathroom has a heater, which is nice. The comfort room lighting is a little dim.

The pool was probably the only nice part of this hotel. My room was humid because the air conditioning didn't work, and the free WiFi they advertised was down my whole stay. They provided no amenities, not even a toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, or water. I booked online the day before arrival, but they had somehow lost my reservation, so I had to buy another room. At checkout I showed the cashier that my credit card had been charged for the original booking, but they still refused to refund it. I ended up paying twice. This felt like a complete rip off. I'll never book here again, and I'd discourage others from booking too.

For about 5600php per night, our December 25-27, 2021 stay in the Penthouse really wasn't worth it. We were tired after a long land trip to Pagadian City, especially arriving during Christmas, and the place seemed like it hadn't been cleaned. We asked for cleaning, fresh towels and linens, and lots of air freshener, and even helped clean, especially the toilets. The property was old, but the bigger issue was how smelly, dirty, and untidy it was. I lost my photos and videos, unfortunately. I wouldn't recommend it. The Penthouse is separate from the main resort/hotel building, near the gate and main road, so it was very noisy. It's rundown and poorly maintained. Both toilets had a strong drainage smell and clumps of hair in the drains. All three rooms reeked of cigarette smoke, and we found two cockroaches. The pillows and mattresses were old and hard, while the towels and linens were thin and old. There are three rooms: a master bedroom for 4 with a TV and toilet, one room for 2, and another for 5 with a TV. There's also a mini-dining area where the shared toilet is. One TV barely worked and had poor reception, the other didn't work at all, and they couldn't even provide new remote batteries. There was a small pool, probably just for little kids. They allowed our dog for 300php per day, the place can fit 11pax, and there was a security guard from 6pm-6am.
