The Funny Lion Coron

We loved the spacious, comfortable room, especially the excellent shower after long days on boat tours. The deck was a favorite too, with jacuzzis overlooking the bay and cocktails. The Jungle Juice is delicious, but dangerous! The two other pools were roomy and peaceful, away from the crowds. The staff made our honeymoon feel special, surprising us with a sweet treat and smoothly arranging airport transfers and port transport for our boat expedition. They also thoughtfully gave us towels for day trips. They forgot the welcome drinks at first, but made up for that with excellent turn-down service and complimentary soft drinks in the room. We liked being just outside town. A quick tuk-tuk ride gets you to the center, while the hotel offers a nice escape from the bustle of Coron Town. We weren’t especially impressed by our meal at Hunt, though the breakfast buffet was plentiful and very good quality. The thoughtful service and amenities made it a memorable stay, and we’d recommend it.

Angel deserves special praise for the personal service she gave me and for always being available when I needed help. The customer experience at The Funny Lion in Coron was excellent. The hotel facilities were good, and the rooftop had amazing sunset views. Complimentary snacks and drinks were available to guests through the day, which was a nice touch.

The anniversary touches made our stay unforgettable. Our message was on the television, there was a delicious cake, and cute elephant towel art on the bed. The staff also set up a beautiful anniversary dinner table with stunning presentation and lights. A special thank you to Sha. The whole team was friendly and helpful, and they dealt with any issues promptly. Breakfast brought something new each day, the rooftop pizza was superb, and the massage service was top-notch and deeply relaxing. We also enjoyed the snacks and juice delivered to our rooms every day. The cleaning staff did an excellent job, and we appreciated them. This is our favorite hotel of all time. We absolutely loved our stay, and the entire staff made it even more memorable.

The pride deck was a highlight, a lovely spot to sit in the jacuzzi with a cocktail and watch the sunset. Since it’s a small hotel, it never felt crowded. The food at breakfast and the onsite restaurants was excellent, and we liked the little welcome gifts, evening sweet treats, and daily snacks. The staff were lovely, attentive, and helpful. Our room and the shared areas were spotless and well kept. I’d definitely stay again!
