The cabin had plenty of space, though the loft upstairs was dusty. The beach was desolate while we were there, with plastic rubbish and driftwood all over it. We were the only guests, perhaps because it was the off-season, and the resort seemed short-staffed and underfunded. No one was around to attend to us, so we ended up eating at the campsite next door. Breakfast was the same each day, bread, eggs, and coffee, and beer was the only spirit available. The bar was dusty too, and the area under the huge chessboard needed cleaning. They didn't give us our change until we left.

For what we paid, this was absolutely not worth it. The place was really messy, and the room was so dusty that I kept sneezing, couldn't breathe properly, and didn't manage to sleep. The bathrooms were filthy, so I avoided showering and used them as little as I could. Be warned.

It's a bit off the beaten path, but that made it quiet and peaceful. We just walked in from the road without booking and got a lovely villa, with a four-poster bed and a view of the sea right from bed. Waking up to birdsong was great. The food was decent, and the staff were really kind and nice.

The seaside was covered in garbage, so I wouldn't recommend coming at this time of year, maybe not any time of year. We had booked a week ahead and traveled more than four hours, only to be given a room with no toilet or bath and a door that didn't lock. The crew never even apologized about the room, and nobody offered us drinking water when we arrived. The service was poor, although the other crew members were very nice.

There weren't any tourists around, so it was really quiet :)) The room was very nice, though pretty expensive at 3200php for one night for two people.
