A female staff member had no manners. We were about to become customers, but she shooed us away just because we're not foreigners. When we asked if we could have our beverages opened, she gave us attitude. Highly do not recommend. Go to the other store, "Alicia", for better customer service.

Yuken Mari is right by the beach and easy to get to, but our stay was so frustrating I feel I should warn others. We booked and paid in full for four rooms months ahead, three for two people each and one for four. When we arrived, the owner said two rooms had been given to someone else. We didn't get the rooms we expected, and there was no recalculation or adjustment for the mix-up. The rooms were old, dirty, and rusty, and the food was overpriced. The owner also refused our request for a senior discount, adding to the disappointment and unprofessional service. With the poor care and unkempt rooms, I wouldn't recommend staying here. Save your money and look elsewhere.

The location is in a very remote part of Panglao, and the signal is so weak that it isn't suitable for digital nomads. There are no food choices beyond their own restaurant. Prices are too high for the quality, service was bad, and there’s no free drinking water. We even had to beg for the wifi password. They charge 1k if you want to cook your own food. There were plenty of mosquitoes, and the rooms only had a bed, air conditioning, and a bathroom/toilet. They didn't even provide free towels. I stayed with friends and family, and none of us were happy with the accommodation. I'm not usually picky, especially on an island, but this was far from acceptable. Please spend your money somewhere else.

We'd paid in full and confirmed our reservation well in advance, but when we got to Yuken Mari, they'd given our booking to another client without telling us. The staff proposed another option, but she presented it as if the problem were our fault. The lack of professionalism and accountability was shocking. I wouldn't trust Yuken Mari with travel plans. If you expect reliability and respect as a paying customer, this isn't the place.
