Aileen can make fresh food any time, and the fruit comes from their own garden. The place is clean, safe and has great wi-fi, plus the aircon is quiet and efficient. At night we could hear the soft sound of waves from our room. Hospitality was wow, and you can ask Aileen anything. The lovely garden is all that stands between you and the beach. It’s on the road that ends at white beach, the most original beach of Bohol, with tuktuks always about 100 meters away to take you anywhere on the Island. Best place on the island. I want this to stay a hidden gem, but people should know how amazing it is. Easy 10/10, we stayed four extra days.

We were near the end of the beach, so it was quieter than farther down or at Alona beach, though there were fewer restaurants around. The beach itself is mostly sand with a few coral and weed patches. The hotel is right on the beach. Breakfast was ok, and the shower had hot water. Wifi was ok too, and staff were friendly and responsive.

Breakfast is included, and you can step straight onto the beach for a swim in the morning. It’s so quiet and easy there. Everyone was so friendly, and lovely dogs and geckos greeted us when we came back after an evening out.

The owner made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived, and helped make our stay comfortable. She arranged tricycles to Alona Beach and other places in Bohol whenever we needed them, and shared lots of tips. Her breakfasts were always delicious, and she let me try some of her homemade jams and food. We were well looked after, and I’d definitely come back. We chose the hotel for its closeness to the beach and the many good reviews we’d read. The wifi wasn’t very good in the room, but I actually enjoyed disconnecting a little. It worked better near reception.
