City of Dreams - Nobu Hotel Manila

The restaurants and food service were a highlight. The dishes looked appealing and tasted great. Housekeeping kept our room in impeccable condition and were happy to help whenever needed. My wife and I spent two nights here for our wedding anniversary, and the stay made this our default hotel for future visits. Check-in was the smoothest and fastest I've experienced, with reception staff who were professional and courteous. The General Manager has a team across all departments to be proud of. I'd recommend Nobu Hotel to anyone looking for a hotel that stands above the competition.

From the moment I arrived, the staff's warm, attentive welcome made me feel at home. Everything was thoughtfully maintained and set up for comfort, and the whole stay felt relaxing and indulgent. It exceeded what I expected, and I'd happily return. A great choice for anyone after a luxurious getaway with excellent service and amenities.

Rocky deserves special thanks for being attentive, professional, and warm throughout our stay. The suite we upgraded to was spacious, elegant, and comfortable, and it made our three days and two nights at Nobu Hotel, City of Dreams Manila much more enjoyable. We paid ₱6,000 for the Executive Suite because no twin beds were available. Staff were generally friendly, and it was nice that my visiting nephews could use the gym. There was a booking mix-up at reception, though, and the staff member handling it wasn't very apologetic, which caused some inconvenience. Breakfast also didn't live up to what I'd expect from a luxury brand. The choices were limited and the quality average. The suite and Rocky's service made the visit pleasant, but the front desk service and breakfast need improvement.

The room itself was nice, but the light in the closet shone brightly into it at night, and the curtains did nothing to block the morning sun. Sleeping felt like being outside once daylight came. The Wi-Fi was painfully slow and kept dropping, so I couldn't work. SMART phone service didn't connect in the room either, which meant I couldn't even use a hotspot instead. I also thought the rule against ordering food from outside, like grab, was petty. You have to use restaurants inside the City of Dream resort or Nobu's own restaurant. This was my worst experience at a 5-star hotel.
