Go Hotels Manila Airport Road

We only stayed a few hours during a layover, but the price felt unreasonable for the condition of the hotel. The building, walls, and room all looked old and poorly maintained. The room smelled of cockroaches, the bed smelled too, the towels looked dirty, and the bathroom was dirty with stained walls. They also didn't answer our email inquiry until we were already in the room. They charge extra for early check-in, which seemed crazy given the quality. The one thing in its favor is that it's fairly close to the airport. If you need a decent budget hotel, I'd skip this one. I can think of two that are in better condition and cheaper.

We booked a twin room for two, then added one more guest, and it was still comfortable. The room was clean, affordable, smelled fresh, and felt nice to stay in. The staff were welcoming, accommodating, and well trained, so we'll book again. We paid ₱1,550 for the room and ₱680 for the extra person, ₱2,230 total for the night. A great deal for a good stay!💖✨

The location worked well, close to the airport and Mall of Asia, and the room itself was decent. But the white towels looked heavily used and turned grey after one use. The toilet barely flushed because there was no water pressure, and it took around 25 flushes to get it clean. Flyover traffic could be heard inside the room, and the service was just okay. There aren't amenities, though there's a good breakfast cafe beside reception. They charged for early check-in, which I thought was unfair if a room was available. I checked out early, at the same time I had checked in, so I don't understand why I wasn't refunded the exact amount. It felt really unfair.

My sister paid full price plus the early check-in fee, but was put in an old, badly maintained room that looked abandoned and didn't seem properly cleaned. She only needed somewhere to rest and shower before an early flight, not an overnight stay, but that shouldn't mean she gets an unwanted leftover room. I booked and paid for it so she'd be comfortable, and they let us down. She was too polite to complain at the counter, but the experience was unacceptable and very disappointing.
