The make-your-own bouquet activity for Valentine’s was such a thoughtful touch, and the breakfast buffet had plenty of good options. We had a one-night stay in a one-bedroom suite, and it exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived. The suite was spacious and comfortable, with The Podium and Megamall just a short walk away for shopping and dining. Even though we checked in late, Karl at the front desk made us feel welcome and looked after right away. He also extended checkout to 2 PM the next day, which gave us time to enjoy the stay without rushing. Every staff member we spoke with was warm, polite, and pleasant. Hospitality really feels like part of the culture here. We’ll definitely be back.

The rooms are incredibly spacious and well maintained, more like a luxury apartment than a regular hotel room. It was a great place to unwind after a long day. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, with its variety of delicious choices, and found the staff attentive and professional throughout. We had a fantastic stay at Discovery Suites. The location is Discovery Suites Ortigas’ strongest point: it’s in the business district and within easy reach of BGC and Makati. Staff were polite and professional, and though the pool is small, it’s fine for a quick swim. We celebrated New Year here for the third year in a row, but this 2025 stay felt practical rather than memorable, with some clear drawbacks. The hotel has an old, classic feel, and the lighting is dim, giving it a quiet, businesslike atmosphere. Parking was a major problem, with guest spaces starting at Basement 4 and being extremely tight. The elevators were slow, and the rooms showed their age, especially the carpets and TV. There wasn’t a signature scent, so the atmosphere felt neutral and forgettable. Dining was underwhelming. The breakfast buffet had limited, uninspired choices, and only the tinapa stood out. Even the bacon disappointed. The New Year’s Eve dinner buffet also lacked options for both mains and desserts, though the lechon de leche was excellent. It works for short business stays because of the location, but falls short for staycations or special occasions compared with hotels offering better food, more modern facilities, and a warmer experience.

The location is great, with a mall right across the street and plenty of restaurants within walking distance, so shopping and eating out are easy. The room was spacious, with room for a sofa and coffee table before the beds, and the bathroom had a bathtub. Service was great too. When I left my ID at the front desk, they called and brought it to my room. Staff also checked whether I needed cleaning or laundry service. Everyone was friendly and respectful.
