ZEN Rooms Studio 18 Ortigas

The place is quiet and small but cozy, and the staff were okay. What really bothered us was the extra charge for our little girl. We had included her with my wife, but management charged P675 and wouldn’t honor our request to add her to the booking or lower the fee. We hadn’t been told upfront that bringing her would cost extra. We then asked for a refund and were refused that too, so we had no choice but to continue with the booking, even though we weren’t comfortable with the undisclosed, biased fees. We’d arrived at 11:30pm, exhausted and only needing somewhere to sleep. I’d be more relaxed about the fees, but as it is I wouldn’t recommend this hotel or studio to anyone watching their budget. Those charges can put customers off.

Though it’s in busy Ortigas Center, the hotel feels like home and is quiet at night. It’s inside the subdivision, past a gate. Parking is limited, but there’s a guard on duty, so double parking isn’t a problem. There are eateries and stores beside the hotel, with fast food just outside the subdivision. The room was clean, the beddings were good, and it had all the basic amenities. Massage and spa services are available by schedule, and the directory has the information you need. It worked well for official work or leisure. Compared with nearby hotels, it’s cheaper and has the basics covered, so I’ll come back. It’s also a partner of zen rooms.

My 4N5D booking through Agoda was good value, and I had a great stay. I’ll be back on my next trip.

The rooms were good quality, and I was happy staying here. It’s in a quiet subdivision, so sleeping peacefully wasn’t a problem.
