What I remember most is how warmly General Manager Andreas and his staff welcomed us. They made us feel as if we’d found friends on our journey, not as if we were guests from far away. We’ll definitely be back. We’d booked two poolside rooms and a penthouse suite. The poolside rooms were spacious and every detail felt just right. We liked them so much that the next day we asked to switch the penthouse for another poolside room. The hotel kindly accommodated us. It’s hard to single out one thing when the service, cleanliness, facilities, hospitality, location, and value all surpassed my experience at other resorts in the Philippines.

We loved having a private pool, and Jenny was so positive and supportive throughout our three-night stay. She took great care of us, helped arrange our scuba diving, and kept an eye on our motorbike. Great experience.

The food is high standard and the cocktails are delicious. Our room was clean, with a comfortable bed, an en suite bathroom, and a mini-bar at a reasonable price. The staff are welcoming too. Great place to stay, and I’d definitely come back.

We stayed in the room above the dive center. After talking to lots of other dive centers, we felt Glenda at Mermaid was the best all-around fit for us. Great value for both the fun dives and the room, and everything was really clean and organized. Top notch.
