Balay Inato Pension

The room was not worth what we paid, and the lack of clear information was disappointing. It looked unfinished and was under renovation, something Hotels.com had not disclosed. Workers were right outside our door, everything was dusty, and the TV was missing with wires left exposed. There were hardly any basics: no heater, mirror, bedside tables, chairs, or anywhere to sit inside or outside. The bathroom had nowhere to put toiletries. All we got was a bed with linen, two pillows, and a very thin duvet. If a property is being renovated, guests should be told clearly so they can decide whether to book. We stayed at Balay Inato, known for its popular, affordable restaurant in Puerto Princesa, but the accommodation fell well short of expectations.

The room was new and the air conditioning worked well. The bed and bedding smelled clean, and there's unlimited drinking water. We had to book unexpectedly because our flight plans changed, and the staff were friendly and took us in. There wasn't a hot and cold shower yet, and no trash bin. I'd stay here again if I travel this way. Thank you.

The staff were accommodating, and even the security guard was nice. The rooms are decent and worth the price. The place is easy to find, with food nearby that's worth trying, and it's convenient for getting around the area.

The place and its location are great. We had a person with a disability in our group, and the rough, rocky parking area made it very hard to push the wheelchair. Apart from that, everything was good.
