Good value for money. It’s a small hotel with individual room designs and lots of decoration. I liked it, and the pool area was nice. The staff were friendly, and it’s a five-minute motorbike ride from the city center.

If you care about getting any sleep, don’t stay here. The owner had musician friends playing until 5am, and I was in the room next to the bar. The place was full, so I couldn’t change rooms and didn’t sleep at all. It felt completely disrespectful to paying guests. The owner seemed lovely, but putting someone through that showed no consideration and was plain rude. I had the underground tour the next day and got about an hour of sleep. It completely ruined the trip for me. The amazing staff were friendly, helpful and very understanding. It felt like this might not be the first time it had happened. If they’re having parties, they should block off the rooms on the first floors or take the party somewhere else.

The ladies here were really helpful with recommendations and arranging pickups. We stayed two nights, and since the hotel wasn't full, they upgraded us to a second-floor room. It’s a little way from the center, but nice and quiet at night. We were greeted by the staff, Bobsy, the sweet retired guard dog who loves being petted, and two teenage cats when we arrived. Thanks for having us at your lovely place!

I’m local and come by regularly for the Swim and Dine special. Whether I’m staying over or just eating, the service is always the best. There’s plenty to look at and do, with interesting artwork, games, a library, and that welcoming, make-yourself-at-home feel.
