I found the rooms and services fantastic, and the spacious parking made the stay feel comfortable and worry-free. Aberdeen Court's function areas are just a short walk away, which is handy for events booked there. Great Eastern Hotel is a popular, affordable option in the heart of Quezon City, on Quezon Avenue between Quezon City Circle to the east and the well-known Welcome, now Mabuhay Rotonda Circle, to the west. I’d give it four stars for its staying power and availability. Its classiness in welcoming guests is similar to Manila Hotel. For value, cozy rooms, and a better package stay, I strongly recommend it.

I wouldn’t call this a family-friendly place. The room I stayed in wasn’t very clean, and some facilities were in poor shape. One bathroom faucet was missing. Getting essentials is also inconvenient. There’s a Mercury drugstore across the way, but you have to walk and cross a footbridge to reach shops like 7-11. That could be difficult for a senior citizen or a person with a disability who needs supplies.

As outside suppliers, we really didn’t feel welcome. We asked to borrow a cart to move all our stuff and luggage, but they wouldn’t let us use one even though they could see how much we were carrying. The staff weren’t accommodating, and there wasn’t even a friendly greeting. It left a bad impression of the service.

I’ve been coming back for a long time. It’s a bit older, but comfortable and safe, with great indoor parking. The restaurant on the 8th floor is awesome. Try the prime rib.

The registration area had no air conditioning, so we were really hot, while the room was too cold even after we turned the temperature down. There also wasn’t enough food for everyone, and what we got was stale and just reheated. We found lots of cockroaches in the bathroom, and the elevator was unusable for a while.
