I appreciated that the staff were approachable and helpful, but the room was surprisingly small and there was a cockroach inside. Around 7:10 in the morning, someone in the next room started drilling into the wall. The construction noise was really annoying and made it hard to relax or get proper rest.

The room was quiet and nice, budget-friendly but not skimped on. It's also easy to get to from Q Ave. The lobby isn't staffed around the clock, though, so I couldn't leave my luggage there in the morning before a seminar. The room dividers are somewhat thin.

It's clean, small, and affordable. The AC worked, and clean towels, toiletries, WiFi, and a TV were provided. My only concern with the room was a small gap at the bottom of the door where someone outside could peek in. Parking is limited too.

BGC Hostel & Dorm works well for travellers on the go who want an inexpensive place in Quezon City. It's in a handy spot near Fisher Mall, two convenience stores, a bakeshop, Dunkin Donut, Jollibee, Artsy Cafè, and other restaurants. There are air-conditioned rooms, lockers (bring your own lock), and card keys. The dorm rooms use a shared bathroom. My only issue was a fellow traveller's loud snoring in the dorm. I'd like to try their other branches around Metro Manila.
