For a budget stay in Manila, it isn't the worst, and the price and location are alright. Still, you'd probably be better off in a hostel single room since they clean better. Fine for one night. I was really disappointed that the $400php sanitation fee wasn't included in the price and was tacked on with the other surcharges. Charging it is ironic when my shower head was clogged and corroded with lime. The KTV bar in the lobby is open to the public, which makes the place feel a bit less secure despite the guards. Outside noise comes through, but it's not the worst budget option.

It's a cheap place for one night, and the staff were pleasant. It seemed clean enough, and although traffic noise was pretty loud, I could still fall asleep. But if you want a nice place, a hot shower, or a soft mattress, this isn't for you. It's a rebranded short time hotel called Sir Williams. Would I have picked another hotel? Yes. The nearby Red planet hotel is also very cheap, with comfy beds, and it's quite.

The rooftop pool still operates, though they sometimes don't clean it. That happened when we stayed during the height of COVID. The building looks a little newer outside, but the rooms make it clear that there hasn't been a renovation in nearly 10 years. It's been over 10 years since my first stay, and lately it's felt the same. The place is still the old Sir Williams under the Red Doorz label, and the building is quite old with some run-down rooms.

We booked online several days ahead, but when we arrived they said there was no reservation in the system. We started filling in the forms for a walk-in room, then after all that were told they were fully booked pala. The front desk woman was cold and unhelpful. When we asked if she knew another hotel nearby, she just gave us a bad look and said no. The service was awful. If you're thinking of staying here, I'd suggest Go Hotels or Red Planet down the street. They're a little more expensive, but cleaner, with kind and helpful staff.
