When I stayed there last year, the hotel wasn’t clean. There were cobwebs in the bathroom and near the bed, ants on our bed, and dirty tiles and curtains. They’d also run out of bottled water. I felt embarrassed for my partner, who came to visit me. They weren’t prepared for guests.

The staff were accommodating, and I had no other complaints. But at an event in one of the function rooms, a colleague ate a pork bun contaminated with a cockroach egg. The kitchen manager apologized. They need tighter food quality control.

Right in downtown roxas city capiz, this upscale hotel has two gorgeous covered pools. Breakfast is free and great, and the American and Filipino food is very reasonably priced.
