We spent the day out after checking into Camp holiday at 3PM, then got back late with the kids ready for bed. There were several hairs and visible lipstick marks on the sheets when we checked them. Finding a dirty bed when exhausted children need sleep is really unsettling. Housekeeping responded when we called and changed the linens, but signs of previous guests are a serious hygiene concern. I hope management improves its room checks so other families don't have their first night interrupted like ours.

The resort has a peaceful, laid-back feel, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and affordable. It seems like a good fit for families or groups wanting a relaxing break without spending too much. Food was satisfying and reasonably priced after a day at the beach or swimming. The staff were especially friendly and accommodating, welcoming us when we arrived and ready to help. We had a wonderful stay at Camp Holiday Resort in Samal Island, and I'd recommend it as good value for anyone visiting Samal. Looking forward to going back! 🌴🌊

We often come here for big family dinners and special occasions. The food is delicious, especially the homey Filipino dishes, and the staff are well-mannered and quick to respond to concerns. It's a budget-friendly resort and restaurant by the Samal port, with affordable rooms, a function hall for grand events, and extra parking beside the resort.

The kids had a nice park to enjoy, and the beach made my little dream of bringing my family together come true. It was easy and convenient to get here, with less hassle and at a much lower cost. The beach didn't look very clean, though people and kids still had fun, and I hope they take better care of the area. The kids' pool had a strong bleach smell that seemed dangerous if a child swallowed some.

A great beach spot right beside the ferry arrival, with a lovely view of Davao. It's kid-friendly, and there's plenty of shade for relaxing in the sun.
