The room had a nice, relaxed feel, though it looked a bit worn and could use refreshing. For the price I paid, it didn't quite meet my expectations. The bigger issue was how hectic the resort felt during our visit. High school students were filling the lobby for prom, check-in was chaotic, and the main elevator was out, so everyone had to use the service elevator. Breakfast at 7:00 AM was stressful too. The buffet was crowded and disorganized, and service was poor. We had a reserved table with a marker, but other guests kept trying to take it. Since it was next to the water dispenser, people treated it like a shared area and left their things there. Staff had warned us that we might need to go to the extended buffet area instead of the beachside food hall, which might have made it easier to keep a table. Aureo's location still has potential, but at busy times it felt overwhelmed and poorly managed. I'd consider avoiding weekends or dates with lots of events, and skipping the 7 AM buffet.

The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and we liked the complimentary banana bread and chocolate chip cookies at check-in. The room, though, looked worn out. We stayed two nights without any cleaning, fresh towels, or even a sweep of the floor, which seems especially needed right by the beach. The buffet breakfast was uninspiring. The coffee tasted like instant Nescafé, and the fruit choices were poor, just apples and melon floating in water. The price felt too high for what was offered, as if most of it was for the location people call the best part of the beach. It was okay, but far from mind-blowing.

Our event for 400 participants from the Liga ng mga Barangay Nagcarlan, Laguna Chapter ran from February 23-25, 2026, and it was a real success. Management made everything easy: requests were handled smoothly, and they were willing to accommodate our needs with care and professionalism. We never felt that anything was impossible. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and beautifully maintained, and the facilities gave us a genuine five-star experience. The food was outstanding and worth every peso, especially the generous, delicious buffet breakfast. Everyone from the front desk, banquet and restaurant teams, housekeeping, nurse, OJTs, security, and behind the scenes showed competence and dedication. Big thanks to the team led by Marketing Officer Sir Nicho Dizon, Event Coordinator Head Sir Mark, and Banquet Head Sir Josh. Jam from the banquet team stood out for the constant smile and positive energy that stayed with many of our guests. Nurse Erika also deserves thanks for looking after participants throughout the activities. We highly recommend Aureo La Union for its people and service. Big salute and thank you very much!

The resort's decor is nice, and it has potential, but our weekend visit late last year was a really bad experience. We came with our baby, expecting good amenities, and instead she would suddenly get hives whenever she went into the room. There seemed to be mold or something there, which was scary for us as first-time parents. Breakfast by the beach had flies, some areas smelled like poop, and pools were under construction. We're not going back.

The beachfront view and peaceful atmosphere made our stay at Aureo La Union special, and the pool was a hit with the kids and adults alike. We visited January 2-3, 2026. The property was beautiful, well maintained, and relaxing, and the staff were warm, attentive, and accommodating. Highly recommended if you want to unwind and enjoy La Union. 🌊✨
