The rooms were spacious, clean, and well cared for, and the staff welcomed us warmly with smiles and quick help getting settled. Check-in was easy, only one person had to go to the office. We booked through Agoda. The location is convenient for Siquijor's tourist spots and nearby restaurants. There's a bar restaurant open from 7am-10am for lunch and until 8pm or 9pm for dinner. Spas, ATMs, and a convenience store are also nearby. We highly recommend Tropical Fun Ta Sea for a stay in Siquijor.

We had a great experience at Tropical Fun ta sea Rentals Hotel in Siquijor. It's right on the beachfront in San Juan, one of the island's best areas, with lots of restaurants and things to do nearby. The manager was very friendly and quickly sorted out an issue with our credit card payment. Our room was clean, and the beds and pillows were really comfortable, though there's no room service. They have live music at the bar each evening until 9-9:30PM, so afterward you can rest without being disturbed. Guests also get an hour of free kayaking daily, and there's a swing that's great for kids. There are quite a few dogs around. We enjoyed them keeping us company in the mornings, though their barking when they gather at night might bother some guests.

For what it costs, I expected more. If you're paying for the view, other resorts offer the same one for less, or at the same price with breakfast included. It feels hyped by social media, but I didn't find anything special enough to justify the price. We were woken around 6AM by tourists outside the room shouting, talking, and laughing loudly. Staff should keep guests from making that much noise near the rooms, and the resort needs quiet hours, maybe from 10PM to 8AM. It should seriously address the noise. The experience was far too expensive, and I'd suggest Fig instead. For nearly the same price, you get a better stay, free breakfast, a pool, and no noisy guests.

We had a good stay for our three-day, two-night girls trip. The beach and sunset views were amazing, and there was a swing that looked like fun when other guests used it. It's also close to places to eat and bars. We arrived before check-in, and staff let us leave our bags in the office while we explored the island. Our room was spacious enough for four, with good towels and okay guest kits, though bringing your own would be better. The bathroom was fine too. Food prices were good, and happy hour drinks came in cute glasses. Staff were friendly, but service was slow: we waited over 30 minutes for drinks and breakfast. The price felt alright.
