This place felt like home, and I wish I could’ve stayed longer. The room and bed were comfortable, the shared lounges and balcony were clean, and the double room with AC and strong WiFi was a great price. The host and service were friendly, and you can rent a scooter too. It’s in a quiet local area, close enough to San Juan by scooter. There’s an affordable eatery across the road, and a fishing beach around the corner that’s nice for sunset, walking, or swimming.

We felt at home right away and would definitely come back. The rooms were clean and private, with AC that worked well, and the shared areas were quiet and comfortable. There’s no hot water in the shared bathroom. The place has only recently reopened, so a few small improvements are still in progress. For the price range, it’s a great place to stay.

She’s a nice host and clearly works hard. It’s cheap, so leave her a little tip and pay it forward!

I only stayed because there weren’t many places available for my dates and the price was low. The caretaker was friendly and helpful, but I still found the place a letdown. It’s far from beaches, shops, and restaurants, all more than a ten-minute drive away. The rooms felt badly run down, smelled awful, and had no character or furnishings beyond a bed and pillows. The air conditioning worked, but it was loud and smelled terrible too. I also saw cockroaches in the shared bathrooms a couple of times. Those positive reviews must be from years ago, when the place likely had a different owner.
